๐ Club Nationals & International Update ๐
Yesterday Patrick Potterton excelled at the 2025 All Ireland Indoors by taking home the ๐ฅ in U13 High Jump! With a personal best of 1.46m, Patrick showcased his growth and determination this season. The club couldnโt be prouder and eagerly awaits his outdoor achievements! We hope he enjoys his hard earned medal and look forward to welcoming him back to training next week after a well earned break!

Last weekend, รine Ward crowned herself National Champion ๐ฅ in U12 Shot Putt! Her remarkable throw of 8.08m, just shy of her PB, secured her victory in a tough field at her debut Nationals.
รineโs hard work and technique paid off, and sheโs a shining star in the making! Aine also won ๐ฅin the U12 hurdles which has no national event in the age group so is also champ of Leinster for the 2025 indoor season.
Notably we also welcomed our International athletes ๐ฎ๐ช Francesca Kelly & Daire Beacroft after their successful trip โ๏ธwith the SIABS national team where they both won ๐ฅ๐ฅ as part of their junior teams competing for Ireland against England Scotland & Wales!
With some tasty treats and a heroโs welcome, we are very excited for these 2 teens as they look towards their outdoor season. ๐ค๐ป
Daire is currently in Australia ๐ฆ๐บ and will run with his Fr Murphys vest ๐โโ๏ธto represent us in their Nationals competition.๐
With Indoors completed โ๏ธ attention now turns to the league next Sunday in Claremont Stadium which starts at 10am sharp.
We appeal all ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐บ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ปโ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐น๐น๐ please & consider getting involved themselves- if members of the club as there will be a masters open event at the end of the kids events where you can run 200m, 3,000m, a long jump or throw the shot (2 events per adult)
Fr Murphys AC has and always will be a club for all ages & by your support, our younger members will be able to see that the whole club come together to help secure points for the league as team. Teamwork!
